MTU1T has been our best seller as long as TacKnives has been in business. It is simply a beautiful and perfectly designed knife. MTU1T is a large OTF. When the blade is fully extended, it measures at about 9’ for total length. The knife feels incredibly balanced in one’s hand.
The body of the knife is made from zinc alloy and is painted with camo pattern for design.
The switch is located on the main face of the body which is an innovative design. It is where one’s thumb would naturally be when holding the knife. It makes operating the switch fast and easy.
The blade of the knife is made from 440C carbon steel. It is laser etched to look like Damascus steel. In many ways this is better because Damascus steel is known to be softer and doesn’t hold the edge as well. With the blade made from 440C Carbon Steel, it has the best of both worlds with the Damascus look and the sharpness of 440C.
The knife comes with built in window breaker that will never come loosen.

Excellent knife for the price. Opens and closes crisply and feels well made. Happy with this knife looking forward to trying out some of their other OTF knives.
The “Info Sheet” on this particular knife says it’s has been their best seller from the day TK Knives opened for business. I believe it! Opening day for deer season was soon approaching & I wanted to carry an OTF Knife but I needed a knife that was substantial in my hand, a heavy duty knife. The MTU1T Camo fit my needs perfectly. It has considerably more heft than the other knives I’ve purchased. The body of the knife is painted with a. material that feels good in my hand & even with gloves the knife is going to stay put. The switch is on the main face which is an attribute that I like very much. With gloves on and in the dark it just seems easier to locate the switch. People say a shotgun has a distinctive sound when racking a new round into the chamber. This knife has a distinctive sound when opening & closing the blade. It definitely gets ones attention. Without question this is a great knife for the outdoors person, one who likes to hunt, fish, camp, explore etc.! One more thing, I didn’t get a deer on opening weekend. It’s just a matter of time & effort!
